Vimeo Introduction


What is Vimeo? Vimeo is a video sharing platform that includes features such as live-streaming and customization. Vimeo allows you to create high quality, professional videos and reach audiences worldwide.

Vimeo is similar to YouTube. Users can upload videos, watch videos, create playlists, save videos, comment, like and so on. All you need to do is sign up for a Vimeo account with your email address. You can upload up to 500 MB of content per week (up to 5 GB total storage per account). You can upload up to 10 videos per day.

I have uploaded a video to Vimeo. Previously I created an account. The video is a River.

Suppose I want to show a video right here on this page. First, I create my Vimeo account. Next i upload my video. The one I uploaded was a video that is royalty free. In the Vimeo website, there is a button beside the video called Copy Embed. This gives you the HTML code that links to the Vimeo site. You just need to copy the code into your own site. So I’ve done that here and everything just works. iFrame is very powerful.
