Performance reports in Google Search Console

Google Search Console (GSC) is a free tool that helps you monitor your site’s search performance and technical SEO health.

Here is a video called Performance reports in Search Console. I’m not endorsing it or anything, it’s just a video I found to be helpful. Performance reports are divided into two sections: search and discover. For your information, metrics are the numbers that show how much, how many, or how often.

Search Performance

For Search in the Performance Report, you will find four metrics: impressions, clicks, average CRT, and average position. Impressions are the number of times your site appeared in search results. Clicks are the total number of times users clicked from a search result to your website. The Average CRT is the average click-through rate. That is the percentage of impressions that resulted in a click. The higher the better. The position is the average position of your site in search results based on its highest position whenever it appeared in a search result. The higher the better.
