Font Squirrel


Are you looking for a new and different font? Try Font Squirrel. All of the fonts provided on Font Squirrel are available for commercial use. Almost all of the fonts are free.

Here’s a list of a few of the fonts at Font Squirrel: Acherus Grotesque, Eurocine, Intro Rust, Milkshake, Source Sans, Open Sans, Questa Fira Sans, Crbert, Alex Brush, Sofia Pro, Questa Sans, Rubik, Sinkin Sans, Geometria Light, Quicksand, Amble, Questa Grande, Aller, PT Sans, Riffic, Exo, Kaushan Script, Museo Slab, Source Code Pro, Museo Sans, Sina Nova, Nobile, Cantarell, and ChunkFive.

We’ll have a look at Open Sans. Click the small monitor icon to view the license. You’ll see something like the following that says it is a free license.

Install into Windows

Installing your font is easy. First, download the zip file and then save it in a folder. Unzip it. Now you should see at least one ttf file. You will need to drag all of those ttf files over to the Add Fonts section in your Settings. Tou can open Settings from the Start menu and search for Fonts. Here below is what it looks like.
