Tableau Desktop

This entry is part 6 of 5 in the series Tableau

Tableau Desktop is software that allows you to connect to and visualize your data quickly. It allows you to access, visualize, and analyze your data and it has an intuitive drag and drop interface where you can uncover the hidden insights you need to make impactful business decisions faster, even when you are offline.

If you are new to Tableau, consider the free version Tableau Public Desktop. You can learn Tableau and share your creations publicly, for free.

Below is a screenshot of the Tableau Desktop screen when you choose Help > About Tableau from the menu. I didn’t purchase this software, but I was able to get a 6-month trial version of it because I signed up for a Coursera course on Tableau called Data Visualization with Tableau Specialization. Thanks Coursera and Tableau!
