Office 365 business plans are now Microsoft 365 business plans, as of April 2020. New name, same price. The name was changed to reflect the larger scope of the software. The 365 represents the number of days in a year because you get benefits each day of the year.

• Office 365 Business Premium is now Microsoft 365 Business Standard.
• Microsoft 365 Business is now Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
• Office 365 Business is now Microsoft 365 Apps for business.

One advantage of going with the Business plan over the Personal plan is the extra apps you have access to. For example, you get Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lists, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Bookings.

With all business plans you get business class email in the form yourname@yourcompany.com.

You get file storage and sharing. Store and share files with 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage. Work on a file and save it directly to OneDrive or SharePoint; your changes are updated across your synched devices.
