Integration of the membership software into these sites is accomplished by copying and pasting of either shortcodes or code snippets. You can use MembershipWorks membership software to manage member’s contact data, take donations, handle online payments, publish member directories, create members only content website pages and more. Here’s a beginner’s video called Getting Started and integrating with WordPress. Here are just a few comments from that video. In that video is says: “Each feature such as the signup form, members directory, or the event calendar is added to your website using shortcodes”. It also says: “The Help section provides all the documentation on using our system”. Click on the Event Calendar menu. In here you can add events to your event calendar and create event tickets for the event. Also, you can set up your event groups to divide your events into categories. Folders are where all of your members are stored by default. All members are stored in the members folder but you can set up multiple folders to optimize your workflow. For example, you can create a folder called “Board Members” to store those members that are on the Board of Directors. The MembershipWorks Dashboard (not the WordPress Dashboard) lets you track your status in one place it lets you see your membership statistics information about new expired and renewing members and activity in your events. If you click on the Financial button at the top of the Dashboard, you can chart your financial activity as well as export your financial data to a spreadsheet (via CSV file) or accounting software (such as QuickBooks). You can filter the exported data with a date range.
