Are you interested in getting into the world of Information Technology (IT)? Since the world of IT is ever-changing and perhaps mysterious, it may seem that entering the world of IT is intimidating. There are however some steps you can take to make it easier.

Start with a little self-assessment. IT is a vast world with many different career paths. All IT career paths require curiosity and life-long learning. I found an article by Syed Faraz Ahmed Rizwan on Medium that’s called Entering the IT World: A Beginner’s Guide to Navigating the Dynamic IT Landscape in 2023. You want to first know yourself and your interests. Next, think of the end objective, area of IT or specific job title. Thirdly you want to ask how to get there by reading, researching, taking an online course and so on. Finally, be persistent and engaged. On way to be engaged is to do projects.
