Enabling Long Filenames in Windows
Method 1: Using Group Policy Editor (Windows 10/11 Pro & Enterprise)
- Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.
- Navigate to: Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Filesystem
- Double-click “Enable Win32 long paths”.
- Select “Enabled”, then click OK.
- Restart your computer for changes to take effect.
