In the previous post we created a VM but now we must configure it. There are several settings that you can look at. In this post, there are two things to consider: the CD ROM and the network. Firstly though we need to point to the ISO file that we’ve downloaded. You can download a trial version of Windows Server 2016 over at the Microsoft Evaluation Center. Scroll down a bit and just under the title Get started with evaluating a product you will see Windows Server. Click that. Now click View All. Under Windows Server products & resources you will see Windows Server 2016. Under Please select your experience, choose ISO. Fill out the form and click Continue.
