There are a lot of Google Chrome tips and tricks that I didn’t know about until I watched Kevin Statvert’s video called Google Chrome Tips & Tricks that he released on January 21, 2021.
You can create groups of tabs in Google Chrome. You can see below from that timestamps that Kevin discusses this feature at 24 seconds. You can give your group a name. You can close, and then open all of the tabs at once.
- 0:24 Tab groups
- 1:58 Manage audio/video playback & mini-player
- 3:14 Pin tabs
- 3:59 Mute tabs
- 4:29 Send tab to phone
- 5:11 Open specific tabs on startup of Chrome
- 6:30 Search within websites using omni-box
- 7:10 Install web app
- 8:09 Task manager
- 9:27 Cast
- 9:55 Chrome URLs
- 10:47 Move multiple tabs

Chrome’s Reading List is another tip worth exploring, among others. You can automatically open specific tabs on startup of Chrome by first clicking on the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner. Click Settings and then at the left, click On startup. Choose the third option (if that’s what you want).
